Hunt Area 163 (Middle Fork) is a Region Y general deer hunt area in Wyoming covering approximately 176 square miles. It supports mule deer and white-tailed deer under over-the-counter general licenses, plus a Type 8 reduced-price doe/fawn white-tailed deer license grouped with areas 30, 32, 33, and 169. Elk are also present. In 2025, mule deer hunters saw a 46% success rate across 150 active licenses with 69 bucks harvested in 514 hunter days. The area is a CWD voluntary priority sampling area in the Sheridan Region with no mandatory submission requirement.
