Remote wilderness of the North Cascades — jagged peaks, glaciers, alpine lakes, and old-growth forest. Elevation ranges from valley bottoms near 1,000 ft to peaks exceeding 9,000 ft.
National Park Service land — hunting is prohibited. Hiking and backcountry access via NPS permits. Adjacent Ross Lake and Lake Chelan National Recreation Areas have limited exceptions. Nearby GMUs 204, 209, 215 offer hunting.
