Sign in to contributeGMU 24 covers the Quinault Indian Reservation on the western Olympic Peninsula, encompassing Lake Quinault and surrounding rainforest. Non-tribal hunting requires Quinault Indian Nation authorization.
Ancient rainforest, Lake Quinault, and Quinault River drainage. One of the wettest places in the contiguous U.S. with towering Sitka spruce, Douglas-fir, and western red cedar.
Tribal land — non-member hunting requires Quinault Indian Nation permit. Quinault DNR manages the land. Adjacent Olympic National Forest offers public hunting in GMUs 638 and 648.
Low — restricted access for non-tribal hunters.

Black-tailed deer and Roosevelt elk; elk in this drainage are among the largest in the state. Quinault Tribe manages a productive hunting program.
