One of the most unique deer hunting opportunities in New Jersey — 42,000+ acres of Pinelands habitat managed specifically for wildlife, with low hunter density due to controlled base access. Strong whitetail population with unlimited antlerless permits. Base also offers turkey and quail hunting. NJDEP coordinates season structure; base NRM oversees access and enforcement.
