Deer are the primary target with excellent populations and a generous three-deer limit. Wild turkeys are present throughout the mixed forest-ag landscape of Todd and Stearns Counties. Ruffed grouse inhabit the woody cover and forest edges in the northern portions of the DPA near Todd and Morrison County forest cover. Pheasants are marginal here — central MN is at the fringe of quality pheasant range; southwest MN is the core zone.
