Flat Delta bottomlands dominated by the Cache River drainage, with vast bottomland hardwood forests of oak, cypress, and tupelo gum. Elevation is uniformly low with water management controlling much of the landscape.

Wood ducks, gadwall, and teal are also common throughout the season. Deer hunting in the bottomland oaks is productive for hunters targeting the late November rut.
